Great job singing today! You all are really finding your "sound" now,
and it's a good one. Comments I heard from people:

"I can understand all their words."
"Three-part harmony? Amazing!"
"They have such a good blend!"
"I love their shirts!"
"They are so cute!"
"They sound great!"
"I love their smiles."
"I bet they're fun to work with."
"They have come so far!"

My response to everyone? I agree, of course!

As I said to you this morning during our prayer time, I am very proud of all of you
and the effort you've put into this ensemble. We have such a wonderful place
to worship at Southport Christian Church, and the support you get from a
congregation that loves you is amazing. Our goal is to keep reaching for
excellence, so that every gift of music we bring to worship is our very best effort.
God deserves nothing less.

Have a great week, work hard, and finish your school year strong!

Whether for camp, speakers, Bible study, games, eating (always food!) or worshipping,
Southport Christian Church youth have gathered together
throughout the church's existence. What better way to build on such a
strong history than with a whole new concept?

Although the idea of just a youth choir is certainly not new to churches around the country,
what is new about "Southport Spirit" is that it encompasses all arts;
a creative arts ministry taking youth involvement in the church to a whole new level.
What better place to nurture the "artist within" than at church?

If you are in grades 6-12, and enjoy music, art, photography, acting or writing,
